Common name: NORTHERN SPUR-THROAT.
Size: 17-28 mm.
General distribution: Alaska to Labrador, Canada; S. to California, New Mexico, Missouri, and Pennsylvania.
Distribution in New Mexico: Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Taos.
Habitat: Mountains.
Host: Range plants and crops.
Adults Present: Unknown.
Notes: Male cerci broader at base than at tip; furculae large; tegmina longer than or shorter than abdomen; hind tibiae red, yellowish, or pale brown. Can be destructive.
