ARS SERVICE SINCE APRIL 2000

Jill began her USDA-ARS career in April 2000 with TEAM Leafy Spurge, an award winning ARS integrated pest management research and demonstration project. Headquartered at the Northern Plains Agricultural Research Laboratory in Sidney, MT, TEAM Leafy Spurge won the ARS Technology Transfer Award for Outstanding effort in 2002. In November 2002 she accepted the secretarial position for NPARL’s Pest Management Research Unit. The position has since evolved into one serving both units at the Sidney lab. Jill brings prior experience as a travel agent, airline customer service manager and bank account transaction representative to her ARS post. She became a member of Northern Plains Area Secretarial Advisory Council in November 2004 and currently is responsible for Media Public Relations.

Jill and her husband, Lee, have 2 daughters and one son-in-law. By the fall of 2005 all three will be attending college!
