Size: 14-28 mm.
General distribution: S. Idaho, S. through Utah and Nevada to Arizona and W. New Mexico.
Distribution in New Mexico: Hidalgo and San Juan.
Habitat: Desert.
Host: Atriplex spp. (salt bush).
Adults Present: June-October.
Notes: Male lacking prominent tooth on hind coxae; general appearance similiar to A. elegans. Not economically important.
