Common name: CLUB-HORNED GRASSHOPPER
Size: 17-19 mm.
General distribution: N. Canada, S. to New Mexico and Arizona.
Distribution in New Mexico: Bernalillo, Colfax, Dona Ana, Lincoln, Otero, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, San Juan, Taos, Torrance.
Habitat: Mountain grasslands.
Host: Many grasses, some forbs.
Adults Present: July-September.
Notes: Only grasshopper in New Mexico with club on tip of antennae. Not economically important, at least not on New Mexico rangeland.
