In addition to the research displays, NPARL also featured a display highlighting Memorial Day and the sacrifices our soldiers and their families continue to make on our behalf. In addition to historical information on the holiday, the display featured free flags, provided by NPARL employees, given away to decorate veterans gravesites on Memorial Day. The Sidney VFW Auxiliary also provided free flag etiquette brochures for visitors as part of the display.
